Configure Holidays

Setting holiday hours allows you to manage calls and messages during specific holiday periods via automatic phone trees and auto-replies. To set up your holidays, you will need to put the following information into Fold: Holiday Name, Start Date, End Date, Location, Auto-Reply Message


  1. Navigate to Settings > Calendar > Holiday Configuration.

  2. Ensure you have a holiday set up. Click on Plus New.

  3. Enter the holiday name, start date/time, and end date/time.

  4. Select which locations this holiday applies to.

  5. Set an auto-reply message that will be triggered during the holiday hours.

  6. Click Create to save.


Best Practice: If your practice takes call on holidays, setting holidays will affect how patients can contact the on-call provider. For practices that take call on holidays, best practice is to use the regular Out of Office phone tree all day. This will allow callers to reach the on-call provider at any given time. We recommend changing the business hours.
