Build on Existing Population Groups

We're excited to introduce a new feature that allows you to create new population groups based on existing population groups. This feature allows you to build more specific subgroups from broader populations or create related groups without starting from scratch each time. It's a powerful feature for more efficient and targeted patient population management.

Customizable Execution Frequency for Population Groups

This enhancement allows you to set custom execution frequencies for dynamic population groups, ensuring that your patient lists are refreshed at intervals that best suit your practice's needs.


Automated Tasks for Athena Referrals

Fold is now introducing a new automation feature that creates tasks in Fold based on referrals (consult orders) from Athena. This feature streamlines your workflow by automatically generating tasks for in-office referrals, ensuring that important patient care steps are not overlooked.


Streamlined Patient Alerts in Fold Sidecar

We're excited to introduce our new Patient Alerts feature in the Fold Sidecar. This enhancement brings critical patient information directly into your workflow, making it easier to manage care opportunities without switching contexts.


New Sidecar Notifications: Stay Informed at a Glance

This feature provides real-time updates about new information available in the Fold Sidecar, even when it's not actively open. By delivering timely notifications about tasks, messages, and patient insights, this feature will help you manage your workflow more efficiently and ensure you never miss important updates.


Filter Patients by Family History in Population Groups

We're excited to announce that you can now create population groups based on family health history. This tool enables practice users to identify patients with specific familial risk factors, facilitating proactive care and personalized health management.



Custom Attribute Filtering for Population Groups

You can now filter patients using custom EHR attributes, allowing for more precise and personalized group creation. This tool enables you to leverage unique data fields from the underlying EHR for improved patient management and care coordination.


Calling Uplift

We have made several improvements to our call management interface, aimed at enhancing our user experience and efficiency. This update includes adjustments to the button sizes, a more compact layout, and optimized positioning for various call scenarios.


SMS Notifications for Appointment Status Updates

As a Fold user, you can now send an SMS to the provider involved in an appointment every time an appointment status is added or updated via Fold automations.

As a Fold user with an integrated Gmail account, you can now define a custom inbox name, allowing your email recipients to see your customized name instead of just your email address.



Additional Features

  • EHR Integrated Imaging Reports Folder - Provider Web and Native App > Documents or scanned images uploaded to the Imaging Reports Folder in Documents section for a particular patient will flow to their record on Athena as a document belonging to the Imaging document class. Conversely, any document uploaded to this category on Athena will also be available in the corresponding folder on Fold. (Only available for Athena users currently).

  • Home-Monitoring Widget in Fold Sidecar - Fold Sidecar > Users will now be able to view the Home Monitoring widget in the "Dashboard" section of the "Insights" tab on the Fold Sidecar.

  • Oura and Whoop Support in Wearables - Provider Web and Native App > Members can now connect their Oura and Whoop wearable devices to Fold (Only supported via Metriport currently). The following data points are available for each device. Oura - Heart Rate, Resting BPM. Whoop - Heart Rate, HRV, SpO2, Resting Heart Rate.
