How to Integrate with Hint
In order for Fold to connect with Hint’s APIs we will need the authorization code from Hint. This can be done from inside your Hint account. Fold should be listed under “Other integrations.” A full set of instructions can be found in Fold Settings → Integrations → Hint.
How to Integrate with Elation
In order to integrate with Elation, you will need to upload your Elation Source ID and your Elation Token.
Syncing data from Elation and Hint
Below describes the general process of how we sync membership data from Elation and Hint.
Fold syncs with Elation and stores the Elation ID for a patient in the Fold servers.
Fold obtains employer and membership data from Hint, then Fold checks for the existence of the patient Elation ID in Step 1.
If a record is found matching the patient Elation ID in Step 1 with the set of employer and member data obtained in Step 2, Fold makes a connection between the two.
By design, there is no way to remove or edit HINT membership data in Fold. All membership data is managed in Hint. So for example, if a membership or employer tag is removed from a profile in Fold, the change is purely cosmetic, the data in Hint remains unchanged.
