Using Labels
Labels are a useful way to keep your team's tasks organized. Within the Fold tasks dashboard, users can filter on labels. Labels can be attached to or removed from a task manually. You can also attach a label to a task via automation.
Creating Labels
Labels can be created by a Fold super user in Settings > Tasks > Labels. Labels can be configured as a specific color, which can be helpful in prioritizing tasks.
Best Practice: While front-end users can create labels within tasks, we recommend managing task labels through Fold super users. This helps prevent the creation of duplicate or similar labels, which can reduce the reliability of filtering. Fold also provides a flag-based setting that restricts label creation to users with access to Settings, ensuring better consistency and governance. Let the Fold team know if you would like this flag enabled.
Deleting Labels
Delete labels from Settings > Tasks > Labels. This action deletes the task label from all associated tasks.
